Fast forward to 2017 and Lenovo-owned Motorola incorporated some power-packed features and introduced the mid-range device in the Moto X lineup- the Moto X4. Now we know that the series of Moto X Android smartphones are still in the mind of developers and the company is apparently planning a new Moto X smartphone for next year- may be the Moto X5? Things get easier and apparent when we refer to the latest news that surfaced online in the midst of swirling rumors, indicating that fans can expect a new Moto X smartphone dubbed the Moto X5 in 2018. Powering Moto X4, there’s a Snapdragon 630 chipset coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM. On the optics front, there’s a 12-megapixel lens with an aperture of f/2.0 and an 8-megapixel secondary lens alongside an aperture of f/2.2.
