The Japanese tech conglomerate Sony loves to walk against the trend. While all the smartphone making brands of the world were busy incorporating the dual-camera setup in their handsets, Sony did not delve into that craze. But the recent reports had confirmed that Sony is going to join the bandwagon soon and is going to include the dual-camera technology in their smartphones. A brand-new mid-range Sony handset has been spotted on the GFXBench benchmark with a dual-camera module on the front end.
The new Sony smartphone which has been appeared on the GFXBench listing website falls under the company’s XA Ultra selfie centered series and according to the website, is going to sport a 16-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel snapper on the front end. Moreover, both the front cameras are capable of capturing 4K video. Not only that, the upcoming handset which is codenamed as the ‘Avenger’ is going to sport a 21-megapixel shooter on the rear end.
The benchmark website has also indicated that the upcoming Sony handset will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 630 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz and coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage capacity. The internal storage can further be expanded through the microSD card slot. The Sony ‘Avenger’ handset will also feature a Qualcomm Adreno 508 GPU for better graphics.
The benchmark website also shed lights on other key specs too. The Sony H3213 is expected to sport a 6-inch FullHD display with 1920X1080p pixel resolution. The handset is pegged to run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box. As Sony has not tried their hands on manufacturing bezel-less smartphones, this upcoming handset is also not expected to come with such design.
