Xiaomi Y1 Key Specs and Features

In the design language, Xiaomi Y1 sports a 5.5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels. For extra protection, the smartphone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass. Underneath, there’s an octa-core Snapdragon 435 SoC housed with a pair of 3GB of RAM. It consists of a native storage of32GB  which is further expandable up to 128GB by using a microSD card slot (reported here).

On the software front, the Xiaomi Redmi Y1 smartphone is an Android 7.0 based device that runs MIUI 9. The smartphone is fueled by a 3080mAh battery. As per pricing, the Redmi Y1 comes with Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 10,999 price tag for 32GB storage + 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variants respectively. On the other hand, the Redmi Y1 Lite is priced at Rs. 6,999. Both the devices will be available via offline stores, Amazon and Mi.com.
