Nokia E71 (2018) 4G Phone May Debut Anytime Soon: Reports Suggest

The Finnish tech giant, HMD Global is all set to unveil the next generation Nokia smartphones: the Nokia 9 and Nokia 6 (2018), in a press conference scheduled for January in the coming year. As already reported, via the introduction of Nokia 6 (2018) smartphone’s concept video, we have gathered some best look at the device. We also introduced the leak of Nokia 9 which gave us a close look at the device’s dual selfie cameras. But despite the lack of 4G connectivity, the company as the aftermath of Nokia 3310 (2017), is all set to introduce another 4G feature phone dubbed the Nokia E71 (2018) 4G.

Reports recently have surfaced online which give us a close hint on the Nokia 4G feature phone to have an imminent launch and that the device has already been certified by FCC as well as Bluetooth SIG. But despite the information gained by the certifications, it seems more news on this front has popped online further revealing what one can expect from the Nokia E71 (2018) 4G!

Nokia E71 (2018) 4G is Set to Have an Imminent Launch

Gizbot reports that the forthcoming 4G smartphone is set to be a revamped variant of the 2008 model, touted as Nokia E71, with the inclusion of a QWERTY keyboard. As per key specs, one can expect the Nokia E71 (2018) 4G variant to come with a 3.5-inch 480p touchscreen display. Underneath its hood, it would house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 processor with 4G LTE connectivity. The chipset is expected to be paired with 1GB RAM.

The feature phone will be occupied with  8GB of internal storage space, which will be further expandable by using a microSD card slot. On the photography front, the Nokia E71 (2018) 4G model is expected to feature a 3MP rear camera and come in both single SIM and dual-SIM variants.

As of now, the company has not yet revealed any confirmation regarding the Nokia E71 (2018) 4G variant. So until any official information, one may take this news with a grain of salt and await more news and rumors to surface in the near future.
