Meizu has, finally, announced that the all-new Meizu M6S will be debuting on the 17 of January. This means that the new year will usher in a new phone by the Chinese major. The new Meizu M6S is a part of the company’s Blue Charm series which we have covered before. Now that the launch date has been confirmed, customers will have more options to choose from.
A few weeks earlier, in November last year, the Meizu M6 had been launched. It was a big success and we especially the Flame Red Color had been much appreciated.
The image that you see above has only confirmed that the launch date of the device. However, we already have a fair idea of what the specs and features of the phone will be. There are rumors about the many features of the device as well, including the fact that the Meizu M6S may come equipped with a single side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Also, we believe that it will not be featuring the physical mBack button; in place of that, we believe that the same features will be replicated via a custom-made virtual key.
As far as the specs and features of the Meizu M6S are concerned, they are decent enough. The device will be powered by the Exynos 7882 chipset which also includes a hexa-core processor, providing better and more efficient processing. The TENAA listing of the Meizu smartphone has also revealed that onboard will be a 5.7-inch display.The Meizu M6S is said to arrive in two different variants: one with 32 GB of storage plus 3 GB of RAM and another more premium one with 64 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM. A lot of juice will be added to the device thanks to the 2,930mAh battery. As far as photography enthusiasts are concerned, the new Meizu M6s will have a single rear camera of 13-megapixel while a selfie camera of 5-megapixel will round off the package.
