Moto E5 and E5 Plus Clear FCC Certification: Launch Date Hints at April 3

Motorola is one company which recently have become the hyped-up discussion and we already know that rumors are rife pertaining to the upcoming phones of the company which are envisioned to launch in the near future. The new reports indicate that the midrange smartphones: the Moto E5 and the Moto E5 Plus have cleared the FCC certification and are expected to launch on April 3.

Both Moto E5 as well as E5 Plus are reported to feature rear-mounted fingerprint readers right beneath the primary camera. The fingerprint scanners will carry the logo of Motorola embedded on the smartphones. According to the FCC page lists, the two smartphones come with model numbers XT1922-4 and XT1922-5. Phonearena nevertheless reports that the FCC documentation does not reveal further specifications of both the devices.

Furthermore, the leak also suggests that the company will implement a massive 4,000mAh battery in both the upcoming Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus phones. The leaked image of these forthcoming Motorola phones will not deploy the devices with the in-trend display fancy of 18:9 aspect ratio. Instead, both the devices will offer a 5-inch display with on-screen navigation buttons and will support a regular 16:9 aspect ratio. No further information on whether or not this 5-inch panel will have 1080p or 720p display is yet unknown.

Everything else concerning the upcoming phones is just envisioned. The company will supposedly offer both E5 series smartphones with the MediaTek chipsets along with dual-SIM capabilities. Besides this, other connectivity options also include the Wi-Fi connection, GPS, and a dedicated headphones jack. However, the devices’ RAM and storage capacity are yet to get known, but we expect a hype over its predecessors. Also, one can also expect the phones to run the Android Oreo operating system, out of the box. Motorola is gearing to launch a newly updated variant of Moto X4 6GB RAM variant in the month of February, which can house newer Snapdragon 636 SoC.
