Earlier this month, we have already reported on how the recently launched OnePlus 5T smartphone was leaked with the apparent official release date, which is January 5. And after getting teased in a video last week, the new leak today points out that the smartphone gets listed on the Chinese retailer, JD.com.
OnePlus has excellently taken it forward and we must admit that OnePlus 5T’s journey, starting from the base model to the Red Lava Edition (which is scheduled to roll out in India on January 26) to the Star Wars Edition (which was touted as an India exclusive device), have been amazingly spectacular. The time now holds a couple of expectations which OnePlus 5T fans have when it comes to the upcoming Sandstone White variant.
As per the JD.com listing, the OnePlus 5T Sandstone White variant comes with a similar design alike to the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition. The only difference that people can point out is the lack of the Star Wars engraving on the lower back of the device. The new edition appears to be limited to just the 8GB RAM + 128GB model.
Apart from that, there’s an inclusion of both OnePlus logo and the alert slider, which are kept black and red respectively, reports GizmoChina.
On the pricing front, OnePlus 5T’s Sandstone White variant may cost same ¥3499 (~$539) price as that of the Lava Red variant and Midnight Black variants (which have similar specs configurations).
To recall, the OnePlus 5T comes with a 6.01” FHD+ optic AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Shielding the device, there’s the Gorilla Glass 5. Underneath, the device houses the Snapdragon 845 processor which pairs with 8GB RAM and a native storage of 128GB.
On the optics front, the OnePlus 5T device comes with a dual rear camera module with 16MP + 20MP and up front, there’s a 16MP front-facing camera. The fingerprint scanner is embedded on the rear panel. Powering the device, there’s a 3300mAh battery.
For the time being, we need to check out whether or not the upcoming OnePlus 5T Sandstone white variant storms the internet but until tomorrow nothing can be confirmed, so here’s the waiting!
