We have some good news for JioPhone users. Reliance Jio has reportedly revised its existing plan of Rs 153 to provide more data than before to its prepaid users. Users will now get 1GB of 4G data per day instead of 500MB that was available earlier. Jio is currently one of the biggest telecom companies in India.
There has been no change in the validity period though, which remains at 28 days. The pack also offers free voice calling (local/STD calls and roaming), along with 100 SMS per day and also a free subscription to all Jio apps like Jio TV, Jio Music, Jio Cinema and Jio Money. Once users finish their daily quota of 1GB, the speed will get reduced to 64Kbps for the rest of the day.
Also, there are two sachets available, one at Rs 24 with a validity of two days and the other priced at Rs 54 and has a validity of 7 days. The Rs 24 pack offers the users 500MB of data daily along with free voice calling, 20 SMS and free access to all Jio apps. The Rs 54 plan, on the other hand, provides free voice calls, 500MB of $G data daily along with 70 SMS and free Jio apps subscription.
Jio has also recently introduced three new plans of small denominations for its prepaid users. They are priced at Rs 19, Rs 52 and Rs 98 that provide users with 4G data and limited validity. The Rs 19 pack offers 150MB of data with a validity of 1 day. After the data is consumed by the users, the speed will get reduced to 64Kbps. The Rs 52 pack offers a total of 1.05GB of 4G data with a daily limit of 150MB per day. The pack has a validity of 7 days. Finally. The Rs 98 plan offers the users with 2.1GB of data with a daily usage limit of 150MB per day. The pack is valid for 14 days. Along with all these, all the packs offer free voice calls and access to all Jio apps.
To recall, the JioPhone was launched last year by Reliance Jio as a smart cum feature phone. It is a 4G enabled handset that is available for Rs 1500. The money is, however, refundable after 3 years.
