TECNO Mobile to Bring Full-View Display “Camon” Smartphone in India: Launch Date Set for January 18

An entrant in the Indian smartphone business, TECNO Mobile, the Chinese mobile phone developer, is all set to launch an edge-to-edge display smartphone. The smartphone will be in the “Camon” series and will apparently make its debut on January 18. Established in June 2016, TECNO Mobile is a premium mobile firm of Transsion Holdings.

The firm has offered some of the most exclusive insights about the upcoming smartphone, and further has stated that the Camon Series will include “Camera centric smartphones” which will be built with the powerful front as well as rear camera. The company furthermore has disclosed that the forthcoming smartphone will include a camera module which is optimized for Indian skin tone. The camera will be packed in with dual flash in order to capture moments in any light, reports Gizbot.

We are nevertheless left to see whether the smartphone happens to be appealing and convince fans’ expectations. Earlier the company has launched “i-series” smartphones in 15 states in India which also include Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Assam, and Bengal in the year 2017.

CEO at Infinix India and TECNO Mobile, Anish Kapoor has earlier talked about the strategy of the company. In his statement, “Around 3 months ago we launched our products in only 3 markets in India and the response received has been very good. We aim to replicate this success across other markets and our target is to be among the Top 5 smartphone brands in India by the end of 2018.”

In addition to this, he further stated, “To ensure this we are working towards strengthening our distribution and after-sales service network and make Tecno smartphones available to our customers across India.”
