Alleged Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 Appeared on GFXBench, Launch Date Imminent

Samsung is not unveiling its 2018 flagships only. Reports indicate that apart from Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 +, the South Korean giant will launch more devices at the MWC 2018. GFXBench, the benchmarking site has recently come up with an unannounced Samsung tablet which might reportedly be the alleged the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4.

The listing indicates that the alleged Galaxy Tab S4 tablet has appeared with the model number SM-T835. Display wise, the device is equipped with a 10.5-inch display and supports a screen resolution of 2160 x 1600 pixels. The device houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and comes with Adreno 540 graphics. Coupled with the SoC, there’s a 4GB RAM as well as a 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity.

In the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is reported to feature a 12MP camera, with a selfie shooter of the 8MP camera. Software wise, the device might run the latest Android Oreo OS, out of the box.

Recalling the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, it was launched in June last year at Rs 47,990 in the Indian markets. The device was a neck-to-neck competitor to Apple’s iPad Pro which offers a 10.5-inch display with a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display and supports a screen resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.

As per the company’s claim, the HDR compatible display of Tab S3 is capable of covering 99% of the Adobe RGB as well as 97% of the DCI-P3 color gamuts.

Bundling the tablet, there comes the S-Pen. Speaking of the hardware specs, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 houses the by a Snapdragon 820 SoC and couples 4GB RAM. There’s an internal memory capacity of 32GB onboard that can further be expanded to up to 256GB using a microSD card slot.
