With that, the tech industry will get hands on the Nokia 9 flagship as well as the Nokia 6 (2018)’s and Nokia 7’s global variants. Some sources have claimed that the Finland based tech giant is also gearing up for an Android Go smartphone’s release, dubbed the Nokia 1 Android Go. The latest news that we have come across points out that a Nokia smartphone with model number TA-1056 has been spotted which is passing through the FCC certification database.

From what we have seen via the FCC documentation, the device appears to be very small which measures 133 x 68 mm when it comes to height and width. These figures show that this particular Nokia device has a smaller footprint than what we have seen in Nokia 2 which measures 143.5 x 71.3. As far as this width is concerned, it shows that the handset might bestow the traditional 16:9 display with a screen display of about 4.5 inches. Alleged Nokia 1 Android Go Smartphone has Cleared FCC

The FCC info label’s location is reported that the smartphone will sport a removable battery for the label is placed just inside the battery compartment, reports Gizbot. In addition to this, there appears a conventional 3.5mm audio jack as well. The details of this the Nokia TA-1056 seems to be scarce and it also looks like that it will be an entry-level smartphone. The smartphone is hence considered to be the alleged Nokia 1 Android Go smartphone. Besides the dimensions, the presence of basic LTE and lack of 5GHz Wi-Fi makes the smartphone to be believed to be an entry-level device from HMD’s stable.

In our earlier news, we have seen how Nokia 1 Android Go smartphone was leaked with hands-on images. There, the smartphone was reported to sport a metal frame with a polycarbonate body alike to that of the entry-level smartphones launched by Nokia so far. Other design aesthetics were revealed which includes the camera module with an LED flash on the rear panel. Underneath, the smartphone is expected to house the Snapdragon 212 SoC and paired with 1GB RAM, a bit disappointing though! Likely, the alleged Nokia Android Go smartphone will run the Android Go, the lighter version of the software!
