With the MWC 2018 just around the corner, most of the tech giants are making last minute preparations to launch their latest flagship devices at the event. While Asus, Xiaomi, Sony, Lenovo are all scheduled to unveil their new devices, most people are eagerly anticipating the launch of the latest installment of the Samsung Galaxy S series of devices, the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+.
A number of leaks have surfaced online revealing nearly all the specifications and design of the device in the last few days, it seems the leaks are going to continue till the official launch event, considering the popularity Samsung as a brand and the S series of devices throughout the world.
Reportedly, the Galaxy S9 is listed on the official website of Orange Romania, a broadband internet and mobile network provider in Romania. As per a screenshot of the new device posted by Slashleaks, the website has revealed some of the specifications of the device.
As per the leaked image, the Galaxy S9 may feature a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD resolution along with 3D touch support. The leak has also revealed that the smartphone is powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 8895 processor with 8 cores.
Talking about the cameras, the listing revealed that the device will come with dual pixel 12MP camera that can switch between f/1.5 and f/1.25 aperture sizes.
The screenshot has also revealed that the Galaxy S9 will offer connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi dual-band, GPS, Bluetooth, and NFC. If these specifications turn out to be true, then it is a great phone to own.
Talking about the other specifications, the Galaxy S9 may come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. The S9 may feature a single 12MP camera on the back panel, unlike the bigger S9+ that will feature a dual 12MP camera. As for the front camera, both the phones will feature an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calling.
The phone is likely to be powered by a 3000 mAh battery that is more than enough to last for a day and will run on the latest Android 8.0 version, dubbed as Oreo.
