Apple’s New iPad Sporting 9.7-inches Display with Pencil Support Launched

Seems that Cupertino tech giant is seriously working hard to offer incomparable technologies with their device lineups. Recently, at the Creative Education event held in Chicago, Apple has finally announced a new revamped version of its iPad which carry a 9.7-inch display with the inclusion of Apple Pencil support.

Talking about the new iPad, it houses Apple’s A10 Fusion chip that was earlier used on the iPhone 7 as well as the 7 Plus. Other hardware features are quite similar, however.

In addition to the support for Apple Pencil, the new iPad also comes with the support for Pages (the documentation app) that is compatible with Smart Annotation, thereby lets iPad owners scribble over a file. apart from that, the new iPad bears the support for Touch ID, an HD FaceTime camera, as well as LTE option, besides many more features, reports Gizbot.

Moreover, with the support for the iBooks author app, it’ll enable users Teachers stitch digital books together. On the software front, the new iPad runs the iOS 11 operating system.

Apple‘s new iPad 9.7-inch (2018) bears a fully laminated Retina Display with the inclusion of a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. The iPad comes with a screen resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and 264 ppi pixel density. Underneath, there’s the A10 Fusion chip paired with M10 co-processor and coupled with either 32GB or 128GB storage options.

In the camera department, the iPad (2018) bestows an 8MP camera with f/2.4 aperture on the rear panel. Other features include panorama support up to 43MP, as well as FHD 1080p video recording. A 1.2MP FaceTime HD camera is embedded on the front panel with an aperture of f/2.2. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, as well as optional 4G LTE.

The new iPad is launched in three color options- Space Gray, Silver, and Gold. It comes with a price tag of $329 for general consumers and $299 for the students. Pre-orders have debuted following to which the shipping will start this week.
