The much anticipated LG G7 ThinQ is all set for launch soon as the South Korean tech giant, LG has confirmed the official release date. A newly leaked render of the alleged LG G7 ThinQ has also revealed the presence of an iPhone X like notch along with other features like an edge-to-edge display screen without bezels. The available color variants of the handset have also been revealed by the leaked render. The smartphone may arrive with multiple color variants like Raspberry Rose, Moroccan Blue, Moroccan Blue (Matte), Platinum Grey and Aurora Black. The availability of these colors will be region specific.
The press renders of the upcoming LG G7 ThinQ that is due to launch this year was reportedly obtained by AndroidHeadlines. As per the leaked render, the rear panel of the phone features a dual camera setup in vertical alignment with an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor just below it. It also sports the standard LG branding without the G7 brand name. The right edge of the smartphone features a lock button, while a volume rocker button and an extra button is present on the left edge of the device. The extra button is provided possibly to activate LG’s own virtual assistant.
Meanwhile, LG has also announced that the LG G7 ThinQ will be unveiled to the public at a launch event that will be held in New York on May 2. It will be followed by a launch event in South Korea on May 3. The company has also confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will come with AI capabilities.
As far as the specifications of the smartphone are concerned, a previous report had claimed that the upcoming flagship device may come with f/1.5 aperture rear camera for low light imaging and a dedicated AI button. The device is also likely to be powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage space.
