South Korean tech giant Samsung is reportedly all set to unveil two new smartphones in the mid-range category, the Samsung Galaxy A6, and the Galaxy A6+. In fact, the Galaxy A6+ with model number SM-A605FN/DS has been spotted on the Samsung Poland’s official website. This indicates an imminent launch of the smartphone along with the Galaxy A6 shortly.
As per a report by Dutch website, GalaxyClub the listing with model number SM-A605FN/DS that can be seen on Samsung Poland’s official site is of a dual-SIM variant of the Samsung Galaxy A6+. The South Korean company may have accidentally uploaded the details on their site. Other than the model number, nothing else has been revealed by Samsung on their website.
Both the handsets also recently got certified by FCC and its listing on their website was first spotted by GSM Arena. As per the listing, the Galaxy A6 with ID A3LSMA600FN is said to be powered by an Exynos 7870 SoC and backed up with 3GB of RAM. It is said to run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo flavor with Samsung Experience 9.0 on top of it.
As for the premium Samsung Galaxy A6+ with ID A3LSMA605FN, it is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset with 4GB of RAM support. The screenshots of the FCC listing also revealed the presence of on-screen navigation controls. It may indicate the absence of the conventional home button of Samsung on the entire Galaxy A6 range. Apart from that, both the smartphones may come with Infinity display screen with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. As far as the pricing and launch date is concerned, nothing has been revealed by Samsung till date, but since the smartphone has already received its FCC certification and has been spotted on the company website as well, we are expecting the launch to take place very soon.
