HTC U12+ which is the next flagship device from the Taiwanese consumer electronics giant has been leaked online just ahead of its launch. This is not the first time that a leaked render has appeared online as we have already seen a couple of leaks in the last few months. Courtesy of the earlier leaks, we are already well aware of the design and specs of the smartphone and now the freshly leaked render has shed more information on it.
The leaks come from reputed leaker Evan Blass who has also shared the specification sheet of the smartphone along with an image that reveals the complete design of the handset. As per the image, the HTC U12+ that is expected to arrive in three color variants of black, lilac and limited edition translucent. The leaked image also shows a complete design of the upcoming handset.
Alongside the leaked image, the spec sheet of the HTC U12 Plus has revealed the internal specifications of the smartphone. As per the spec sheet, the upcoming device is likely to retain the hallmark liquid surface design, however; the leaked image also suggests that the HTC U12+ may come with a matte glass back. But images can be deceiving so it would be better not to speculate right now that the smartphone will feature a matte glass back instead of the customary translucent one. The limited edition translucent U12+ will allow the users to take a glance of the interiors of the smartphone just like the HTC U11+ that was launched earlier.
Apart from the color options, the image also revealed the upcoming smartphone from HTC to sport a dual rear camera on the rear panel that has been arranged horizontally. The phone, however, does not seem to sport the iPhone-X like display notch that has become a common feature in premium smartphones from OnePLus and Xiaomi.
The image also reveals the smartphone to boast a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel. This indicates that the HTC U12+ will not arrive with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Apart from that, a dual camera module on the front can also be been seen clearly on the image. It means the HTC U12+ will feature four cameras, two on the rear and two in front.
