In order to challenge the leading mobile service operators in the country like Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone, the Aditya Birla Group-owned Idea Cellular has launched a new Rs 499 plan for its prepaid customers to offer a total of 164GB of 4G/3G/2G data with a validity of 82 days.
Along with the data benefits, the plan also offers unlimited local/STD and roaming calls to any network in India and 100 text messages (SMS) per day. In addition, the plan also offers 100SMS messages per day. Upon completion of the daily quota, users will be charged at Re 1 per local SMS and Rs 1.5 for every national SMS sent.
