The OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers limited edition smartphone will be available for purchase from today, the company has confirmed. The device will be available via online channels like Amazon and the official OnePlus online store. In addition, the smartphone will also be available via offline retail stores along with OnePlus Experience stores and Chroma outlets across the country. The sale will go live from 12 noon today.
The OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers limited edition is the most premium handset from the company with 8GB RAM and a massive 256GB of inbuilt storage space. The device comes with a price tag of Rs 44,999 and was launched to mark the release of the latest movie of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Avengers: Infinity War.
The OnePlus 6 Avengers edition will also be available from the OnePlus Experience store in Bengaluru. People living in other cities will have to depend on Amazon or Chroma stores to get their hands on the latest smartphone. The major highlight of this phone is the presence of the Avengers logo on the rear panel that is made up of carbon fiber material.
The retail box of the smartphone features an Iron Man themed protective case with the helmet. Apart from that, all the boxes feature one randomly selected Avengers medal. There are a total of six Avengers medals, each representing one Avengers character. The company has also packed five Avengers themed wallpapers in the limited edition smartphone.
Coming to the applicable offers, Citibank debit, and credit cards holders will get a Rs 2,000 discount on the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers edition. Apart from that, customers can also avail no-cost EMI options on the purchase. Additionally, OnePlus is also offering 12-months accidental damage insurance powered by Servify on the handset. Customers making their purchase from Amazon will also get Rs 250 gift voucher on Amazon Prime video and Rs 500 discount on Amazon Kindle e-books.
To recall the specifications, the OnePlus 6 Avengers edition sports a 6.28-inch full HD display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. On the camera front, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup of 16-megapixels and 20-megapixels. On the front, it features a 16-megapixel sensor. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box but can now be upgraded to Android P beta as well.
