South Korean tech giant Samsung will be launching its new device in the Galaxy S series next year. Named Samsung Galaxy s10, it is going to be the 10th anniversary of the very popular Samsung Galaxy S flagship series. So it can be expected that the company will pack the smartphone with some out of the box features to make the occasion special.
While there is no shortage of rumors about the expected specifications of the Galaxy S10, a renowned Chinese leaker IceUniverse has shared a new image that could be the prototype of the Samsung Galaxy S10. Although it is not clearly stated that the image is of the Galaxy S10, various reports have claimed that Samsung is likely to build on the design of the Samsung Galaxy S9 launched this year. The presence of a third button on the right edge of the device also indicates that the render could be of the Samsung Galaxy S10. The company usually upgrades the design of its Galaxy S series every two years so it makes sense that the device could be the upcoming flagship device.
The image shows that the smartphone features a truly bezel-less design with no bezels on any of the four sides. If this indeed turns out to be true, then this device will have the highest screen to body ratio and will become the first phone from the company to do so. The image also shows that the power key has been housed on the right side of the smartphone while the volume rocker key has been placed on the left along with another key which could probably launch the AI assistant.
Apart from these revelations, the Samsung Galaxy S10 is expected to ship with the company’s in-house Exynos SoC which is still to be confirmed. A US exclusive variant of the device is also expected to be launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. The phone may arrive with 6GB of RAM or higher and the company may also launch two variants of the device- Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+ like its predecessors.
