Apple iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 7 and iPhone 6s Receives Price Cut in India

Apple unveiled its 2018 lineup of iPhone models on September 12, which includes the premium Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max and an affordable iPhone XR. While the premium models feature an OLED display panel, the affordable iPhone XR features an LCD display. Now, the company has reduced the price of its older generation iPhones in the global market as well as India. A range of iPhones starting from last year’s Apple iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 8 to iPhone 6S has received price cuts in the country. Notably, Apple has discontinued iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone X in the US, but in India, only iPhone SE has been discontinued.

Starting off with Apple iPhone X, the 64GB variant of the device is now available for Rs 91,900 while the 256GB model is priced at Rs 1, 06,900. This is a fair deduction from the previous official price which was at Rs 95,390 and Rs 1,08,930 respectively. Coming to the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, both the models have received price cuts in India. Apple iPhone 8 is now available at a price of Rs 59,900 for the 64GB model while the larger 256GB model carries a price tag of Rs 74,900. Before the price cut, the 64GB iPhone 8 was available for Rs 67,940 and the 256GB at Rs 81,500.

Talking about the Apple iPhone 8 Plus, the 64GB variant is now available at Rs 69,900 down from Rs 77,560 earlier while the 256GB variant is now available for Rs 84,900 down from Rs 91,110.

Apple has also reduced the prices of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in the country. The base variant of iPhone 7 with 32GB storage is now available for Rs 39,900 while the 64GB variant is now available for Rs 49,900. The base variant of iPhone 7 Plus with 32GB storage space is now available for Rs 49,900 while the 64GB version is available for Rs 59,900.

The iPhone 6s is now available for Rs 29,900 for the base variant with 32GB storage and Rs 39,900 for the 128GB version. The base variant of iPhone 6s Plus with 32GB storage is available for Rs 34,900 while the 128GB variant comes with a price tag of Rs 44,900.
