Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max Goes to Sale in India Today

Apple had launched its 2018 lineup of iPhone models which include iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and the affordable iPhone XR a couple of weeks ago. Now, the Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are set to go on sale in India from today. The smartphones will be available via Amazon India, Flipkart, and Paytm Mall. Notably, Apple had also started taking preorders for the two models just after the official launch and shipping of the devices are expected to begin from today. The models will also be available via authorized Apple retailers in the country.

Interestingly, the Apple iPhone XR which is an affordable variant with an LCD display panel will not be available for purchase now. Apple has confirmed that the smartphone will start shipping in the country from October 26 and preorders will be taken from October 19.

Also as per a report by The Economic Times, Apple is working hard to ensure that the sale of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max in the country peak to a satisfactory level. It may be recalled that last year’s Apple iPhone X did not see many sales in India and the company subsequently discontinued the handset. The Economic Times citing two industry experts further revealed that Apple has planned to import 1 lakh units of iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max in India.

The launch phase of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max will be held across major cities of India which include New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad and more. Talking about the launch offers, Flipkart is offering 5% discount for debit and credit card holders of HDFC Bank or Axis Bank Buzz credit card holders. Mastercard holders making payment for the first time on Flipkart will also get a discount of 10%.

Buyers can also avail no cost EMI options on Flipkart for purchasing the iPhone XS or Apple iPhone XS Max. The ecommerce giant is also offering a buyback price of Rs 45,000 for the iPhone XS and Rs 49,500 for the iPhone XS Max.
