Apple officially unveiled three new iPhone models yesterday at the pre-scheduled launch event at the Steve Jobs theatre in California. The three models were named Apple iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and the affordable iPhone XR. While the iPhone XS max is essentially a larger variant of iPhone XS, Apple iPhone XR is the affordable variant with a 6.1-inch LCD display. The price of the three iPhone models in India was also revealed by the Cupertino based conglomerate shortly after the launch event.
Coming to the price of the three new models, the iPhone XS comes with a price tag of $999 for the 64GB variant while it costs $1,149 for the 256GB variant and $1,349 for the 512GB variant. The iPhone XS Max, on the other hand, has a starting price of $1,099 for the 64GB variant, while it is $1,249 for the 256GB variant and $1,449 for the 512GB variant. For India, the price of the Apple iPhone XS starts at Rs 99,900 for the 64GB variant and it goes up to Rs 1,14,900 for the 256GB variant and Rs 1,34,900 for the 512GB variant. Buyers intending to buy the Apple iPhone XS Max will have to spend Rs 1,09,900, Rs 1,24,900 ad Rs 1,44,900 for the 64GB, 256GB and the 512GB variants respectively.
Talking about the specifications, the iphone XS and iPhone XS Max come with similar features except for the screen size. The iPhone XS bears a 5.8-inch OLED Super Retina notch display, while the larger iPhone XS Max features a 6.5-inch OLED Super Retina notch display. Both the models are powered by Apple’s latest A12 Bionic chipsets and runs on iOS 12 out of the box.
On the imaging front, both the models are equipped with a dual rear camera setup with two 12-megapixel sensors. The rear cameras are also equipped with a 6-element lens and 2x optical zoom. A quad-LED flash is also provided on the rear panel. On the front, it features a 7-megapixel sensor for selfies. Internal storage options include 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB for both the models.
