State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched two new voice-only prepaid plans for the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles. Priced at Rs 105 and Rs 328, these plans will provide unlimited local/STD and roaming call facilities to the customers. These plans have been named BSNL Ananth and Ananth Plus respectively and a report has also claimed that these plans are available in other telecom circles but are differently priced at Rs 99 and Rs 319 respectively. In addition to these plans, BSNL has also launched a data-only plan for its customers.
Coming to the plan details, as per TelecomTalk, the Rs 105 prepaid plan dubbed BSNL Ananth offers truly unlimited calling benefits to its customers without any FUP limits and has a validity period of 26 days. The plan does not offer any SMS or data benefits and would be well suited for customers who make a lot of calls every day. On the other hand, the other plan priced at Rs 328 is dubbed as BSNL Anath Plus and offers the same benefits albeit a longer validity period of 90 days. It is to be noted that free calling facilities are not available in Delhi and Mumbai circles as the company does not serve these places.
Additionally, BSNL has also launched a new data plan for customers using data along with calls. The entry-level data plan called BSNL Data Tsunami pack is priced at Rs 98. This plan offers 1.5GB of data per day with a total validity of 26 days. This takes the total data benefits to 39GB and brings down the cost of per GB data at Rs 2.5 only. However, BSNL offers 4G services only the Kerala circle at present so customers in all the circles will have to use the allocated data in 3G speeds only.
