To take on its rivals like Reliance Jio and Airtel, Vodafone Idea has launched six new prepaid combo packs that will offer data and voice calling benefits to its users. Notably, last month, Vodafone and Idea Cellular had completed its merger to become a new entity and fight its rivals better. After the merger, it has become the largest telecom operator in the country based on the number of subscribers. The six combo recharge packs are now available to both Vodafone and Idea subscribers across select circles in the country.
The new recharge packs from Vodafone and Idea range from Rs 25 to Rs 245 and comes with a validity period of 28 days to 84 days. The plans are now available in select circles like UP (West), Punjab and Tamil Nadu. These packs have been aimed at customers who do not prefer unlimited data or calling benefits.
Coming to the pack details, the prepaid combo recharge pack of Rs 25 offers a talk time of Rs 18 and 10MB of data with a validity period of 28 days. The Rs 35 recharge pack offers talk-time worth Rs 26 along with 100MB of data for 28 days. The Rs 65 recharge pack, on the other hand, provides talk-time worth Rs 65 along with 200MB data for 28 days. The voice calling rates for Punjab and UP (West) circles are 1paisa per second while it is 60 paisa per minute in the Tamil Nadu circle.
The Rs 95 prepaid plan offers talk-time worth Rs 95 and 500MB of data with a validity of 28 days. The Rs 145 plan, on the other hand, provides talk-time of Rs 145 along with 1GB of data for 42 days. Finally, the Rs 245 plan offers talk-time worth Rs 245 along with 2GB of data with a validity period of 84 days.
