Bungie, the developer behind Destiny 2 has revealed the release date of Destiny 2’s next big paid update along with some future plans. The latest update will be released on December 4 and the company has warned that there may be some unforeseen issues in the weeks prior to its release.
In an update on its official blog, Bungie has announced that its team of developers is currently working to bring some temporary changes so players will know what to expect. It further said that any player who encounters bugs or issues in the weeks prior to the release of the update should use the official help forum to get help.
Notably, Black Armory is a part of the new season of the Forge which is set to begin on November 27. It will be followed by the Season of the Drifter and another unnamed season. Season of the Forge will add the new The Dawning event, new Crucible content, and new weapons. Annual Pass holders who can access the Black Armory will get Light and Fury weapons, the new Forges of the Chain activity, a Raid Lair, Exotics, and Legendaries.
Apart from these changes, the blog also notes some changes coming on the PvP/PvE hybrid Gambit Mode. Infamy will be more readily available with Infamy rank point awards for all bounties being doubled. Apart from that, many challenges have been returned to the game which has now become easier to complete. Ranking up in subdivisions will now award Legendary weapons and armor.
For players looking to rack up Infamy, this week is going to be the best opportunity as a Double Infamy Event will take place from November 20 to November 23. It will be followed by a Triple Infamy Event which will take place from November 23 to November 27.
