The Samsung Galaxy C7 (2017) is likely to have dual rear cameras if the latest leaks are proven to be correct. If proven true, the device will only be the fourth Samsung device to feature the dual rear camera setup. The leaks come days after we informed you that the new device had received Wi-Fi certification. Samsung’s Galaxy A, Galaxy C, and Galaxy J lineups have proven to be pretty popular over the last few years.
This tweet from a popular leakster, who has often proven to be correct, states that the Samsung Galaxy C7 (2017) has finished all the tests and will probably be released soon. The first three Samsung devices to receive the dual rear camera setup was the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the Galaxy C10, as well as the Galaxy J7’s Chinese variant. Originally, the Samsung Galaxy C10 was rumored to be the first smartphone which would carry the dual rear cameras. However, that honor later went to the Galaxy Note 8 instead.
Samsung Galaxy C7 (2017) Specs and Features
The new device is expected to be powered by either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC or the Snapdragon 660 SoC. There were some reports which indicated that Samsung’s indigenous chip designers had come up with the Exynos 7872 SoC which, it was said, would power the Samsung Galaxy C7 (2017). However, that rumor has not yet been proven and it is likely that the Exynos 7872 processor may power one of the variants of the device.
It must be remembered that the original Galaxy C7 had the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC at its heart and it was a very decent performer. It stands to reason that the 2017 variant of the device may feature the Snapdragon 630 SoC to provide continuity.
Not much is known at this moment about the Samsung Galaxy C7 (2017) at this moment. As soon as such information is revealed or leaked, we will update you. So, stay tuned.
