OnePlus 6T is set to become the latest offering from OnePlus and become the successor to last year’s OnePlus 5T. Although the launch date of the device is yet to be revealed by the company, a new teaser has appeared online that shows a poster of the OnePlus 6T in full glory. The teaser also shows the new tagline of the upcoming smartphone that reads “Unlock the Speed”. The company’s “Never Settle” label can also be clearly seen on the OnePlus 6T wallpaper and additionally it shows the waterdrop notch that takes up much lesser space than the large notch found on the OnePlus 6. The waterdrop notch is seen to house the front camera and some other sensors. The leak comes just a week after the OnePlus 6T was confirmed via a listing on Amazon India.
The leaked ‘official poster’ comes from a source via SlashLeaks. The poster shows the front view of the upcoming smartphone and also highlights its tagline. The poster also shows the presence of a waterdrop notch on the display panel that houses the front selfie camera and some other sensors. Apart from these revelations, a wallpaper of the OnePlus 6T is also shown clearly on the poster. It shows the ‘Never Settle’ label of OnePlus and ‘Unlock the Speed’ as the tagline.
However, the poster does not show the bottom of the OnePlus 6T which features an in-display fingerprint sensor for the first time. It is to be noted that the poster does not come from an official source and the company is yet to confirm any of these specifications. Since OnePlus has not teased any promotional material for the OnePlus 6T, this report should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Coming to the specifications, as per rumors and leaked renders, the OnePlus 6T is expected to arrive with a 6.41-inch full HD+ display along with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of inbuilt storage space. Also, the smartphone will not feature the 3.5mm headphone jack and instead will use the USB Type-C port for headphones and charging purposes.
