Chinese tech giant Meizu has unveiled its first ever metal headphones dubbed as the Meizu HD50.This is an over-the-ear headphone targeted for those music lovers who want a great audio listening experience without eager to spend too much. The Meizu HD50 is priced at just 399 Yuan which comes to around $62 and will be available for purchase from 11th November.
Meizu HD 50 Features
First of all, the Meizu HD50 comes with a metal body, the same metal which Meizu used in their latest smartphones and with a silky artificial protein leather ear pads which are soft and comfortable to wear. There are two color variants available for the ear pads, fresh and simple white or rich black texture. But from the outside it seems like you have only one color for the exterior body, i.e. silver.
Meizu HD 50 comes with an unique cross-shaft design which can achieve 135 °, 95 ° , and 15 ° triple folding multi-angle freedom to give your ears the ultimate comfort. To give the headset more rugged wear, Meizu have adopted a high-end powder metallurgy process, and in the ear section used CNC laser carving carved with the characters, so that the entire headphone glows metallic color and sports thick texture.
The Meizu HD50 over-the-ear headphone houses an ultra-fine bio-fiber diaphragm which makes the headset both light and offers more rigidity than the average paper diaphragm or metal diaphragm. Also this bio-fiber diagram technique facilitates better resolving power, decrease the distortion less than 0.5% and can completely restore realistic sound.
The Meizu HD50 headphone comes with a special patented dual sound chamber along with double conduction bassoon mechanical crossover design which helps to flow the sound clearly, delays the reverb, voices get strong expansion and the sound dives deeper. Among the dual sound chambers, the front chamber makes sure the airflow compensation for the use of the principle of sound flowing and the rear chamber is feed back to the front chamber.
Meizu reportedly hired a team of experts (who have worked before with famous audio brands like SENNHEISER, AKG, Beats etc) to focus that the headset comes with better channel widening, more stretch and warm sound performance , effective increase the volume of the cavity, and aggravates the thick bass.
The Meizu HD50 headphones will be up for the sale from November 11 for just 399 Yuan or $62. Though the company has not revealed any information about an international release of the headphone, yet.
