Chinese smartphone maker Meizu is reportedly planning to release a ‘mini’ version of its flagship smartphone Meizu Pro 5. Although the company has not spilled the bin about the device and has been flying under the radar for the most part, but a listing of the Meizu Pro 5 mini has cropped up on a European retailer’s website. And according to that site Meizu Pro 5 mini has been priced at 359.99 EUR (Rs. 25,800 approx.)

The dual-SIM based Meizu Pro 5 mini flaunts a 4.7-inch full-HD display with a 1080 pixel resolution and likely to come with a full metal body. The handset is believed to be powered by a 64-bit Helio X20 MT6797 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The chipset is a different mix of cores, ten of them, including two of the latest Cortex-A72.

 For your information, the Meizu Pro 5 was backed by a Samsung Exynos 7420 octa-core processor (quad-core 2.1GHz Cortex-A57 + quad-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A53) clubbed with Mali T760 MP8 GPU. The Pro 5 was released in two RAM variants – 3GB and 4GB.

Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop skinned with the company’s own Flyme OS on top of it,Meizu Pro 5 mini is listed to pack 32GB of inbuilt storage and support expandable storage through  microSD card up to 128GB.

On the photography front, the Meizu Pro 5 mini sports a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing selfie camera on board as well. A 3050mAh battery is also expected to present in Meizu Pro 5 mini which will also feature dual-SIM 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS and WIFI. Though there will be no NFC connectivity will be present in the device.

Of course as this is a third-party online retailer and that the company hasn’t made it official so far, we can only predict but cannot tell certainly if these will be the official specifications and price when the phone is unveiled.

Last month, Meizu’s flagship device, the Pro 5, was announced to be delayed until November. The delay was said to be happened due to a flood at the company’s factory in Guangdong.
