Lava, the company known for launching smartphones under its Iris brand has added a new device under the same segment and this time it is Lava Iris X10. This is going to be the flagship device of the company and is also a top-end device of the Iris series. X10 comes with a 5-inch HD display which sports a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The display is further protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Under the hood users get 1.3GHz quad core processor which is coupled with 3GB of RAM. The user gets to store the stuff in 16 gigs of internal memory and if that may sound less to some then they can further expand it with the help of a MicroSD card.
The design of Iris X10 is somewhat similar to other Iris devices we have seen in past. The device comes with the volume rockers and power button on the left while the micro-USB port is on the bottom and the 3.5mm jack sits on the top.
The device comes with a 13MP camera on the back and dual LED flash. The rear camera comes with a f/2.0 aperture and is capable of recording 1080p videos. The device also holds a 5MP camera on the front which consists of a 84-degree wide angle lens. The device supports 4G LTE and is capable of holding 2 sims. It runs on Android 5.1.1 out of the box which can be upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the future.
The device is powered by a 2900mAh battery which is a pretty good number for a device with specifications like this. On the connectivity front, this device features Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS etc. Iris X10 would be available in Icy White and Royal Black color at a price of Rs. 11,500. It would be available for sale across all the offline and online channels.
