Oppo has launched F1 Plus at a price of Rs. 26,990, which is being dubbed as the ‘selfie expert’ smartphone by the company, in India. Being a camera-focused smartphone, the highlight of the device is its 16-megapixel front camera that comes with an f/2.0 aperture and a 78.1-degree wide-angle lens and 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an f/2.2 aperture. The device is going to be available from mid-April in two color variants, namely, Gold and Rose Gold.
Oppo F1 Plus features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Amoled display at a PPI of 401 pixels per inch. It is powered by an 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6755 processor clocked at 2GHz that comes coupled with 4GB of RAM. The device includes 64GB of internal memory storage which can be expanded up to 128GB through microSD card. The Oppo F1 Plus runs Android 5.1.
In the imaging department, the handset has got an 16-megapixel front camera with 78.1-degree wide-angle lens and an f/2.0 aperture and a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an f/2.2 aperture. It features 4K video recording and PDAF (phase detection autofocus). The device measures 51.80 x 74.30 x 6.60 and weighs 145.00 grams.

F1 Plus is a dual micro-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone. In the connectivity front, the devices offers options 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India), Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and sensors like Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope. The handset is powered by a Li-Ion 2850mAh removable battery.

Earlier this month the Chinese electronics manufacturers have launched two smartphones – R9 and R9 plus in China priced at CNY 2,799 and CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 29,000 and Rs. 34,000). Although Oppo F1 Plus is now available in India, there has been no word on when the R9 and R9 plus os gonna be available in the country.
