Now both company’s have announced their first joint project – a smartphone in the Cool series. It’s called the Cool1 Dual smartphone. Priced at CNY 1,099 (roughly Rs. 11,100), the handset is presently available for pre-order in Coolpad website, LeMall and Jd.com. The handset will go on sale on August 24 with Gold, Silver and Rose Gold colour options. LeEco Cool1 Dual Features The LeEco Cool1 Dual smartphone features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS in-cell display with 450-nit brightness and 72 percent NTSC color gamut. It supports dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based EUI 5.6. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor (quad-core 1.8GHz Cortex-A72 + quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A53) paired with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes in three memory/storage bundles – the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,099 (roughly Rs. 11,100), the 4GB/ 32GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 15,100) and the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 17,100). The handset sports two 13-megapixel cameras at the back with f/ 2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), 4K video recording, 720p slo-mo, and dual-tone LED flash. And an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture and an 80-degree wide-angle lens. LeEco Cool1 Dual Smartphone measures at 152×74.8×8.2mm and weighs 167 grams. Connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 8802.1111 ac/a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), GPS, and USB Type-C port. It is backed by a 4,060mAh non-removable battery and also supports reverse charging.
