Polar M600: The all new wearable by Polar called the Polar M600 has been launched. It is the company’s first Android Wear device. According to Polar, it is “sport optimized smartwatch”. It’s set to launch later this summer for $329, and interested buyers can grab extra bands for $30 each. Polar M600 is available in black and white, with a red version coming soon.
The fitness smartwatch features 1.32-inch TFT display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top and 240×240 pixel resolution. It’s powered by a dual-core MediaTek processor paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The smartwatch has a power button, front button for quick training control, powerful heart rate monitor with six LEDs for an accurate reading. It is water-resistant and comes with connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS support. Polar M600 claims to offer two days of battery backup.
The smartphone comes equipped with GPS, optical heart rate sensor and activity tracker. It also features a special Smart Coaching which is a custom-designed watch face that’ll quickly show users how close they are to hitting their previously set daily goals. The design is pretty simple as the wearable comes with a silicone strap that’s removable and washable.

Speaking of the wearables market in India, a French consumer electronics company Withings launched a range of connected health devices in the country. It’s a Nokia-owned company, and some of their products that are available in India include, Withings Activite Pop, Activite Steel, Activite Sapphire, Pulse Ox smartwatches and fitness bands, Home HD camera, Aura sleep monitor and Blood Pressure Monitor. As for the price range, Activite Pop, Activite Steel, and Activite Sapphire trackers are available at Rs 14,999, Rs 17,999, and Rs 34,999 respectively. The tracker syncs with the updated Withings Health Mate app to show all the recorded information about the wearer.
