Huawei Honor 6X With Fingerprint Sensor To be Launched on October 18

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launched its first dual camera smartphone in China way back in December 2014. Later in 2015, the Honor 6 Plus along with Honor 4X were launched in India. This might also be the first dual camera smartphone from a major smartphone manufacturer. Now in 2016, Huawei launched the latest flagships Huawei P9 and Huawei P9 Plus smartphones. Both the devices came with dual camera setup which was developed in partnership with Leica. Now the sub-brand has launched yet another device which gained the TENAA nod of approval in China and the certification revealed that the device will have mid-range hardware.  The device with the model number BLN-AL10 is expected to be launched as Honor 6X on October 18th in China.

The Honor 6X from Huawei is expected to sport a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor. The device comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for onboard memory expansion.  The device is pegged to support dual SIM dual standby with 4G LTE support. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with the EMUI 4.1 laid on top. The device comes with a metal body and sports fingerprint sensor on the back.

Camera and Battery Specifications

Coming to the photography front of the upcoming device, the Hono 6X includes a 13MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0 & LED flash. The smartphone is also equipped with a 5MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture & wide-angle lens for video calling and selfie taking purposes.  The Honor 6X is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and supports  Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 support.

Price and Availability

There have been no confirmed price listings for the Huawei Honor 6X as of yet but we are putting the price of the device at an approximate of Rs.14,500. Post its launch in China, the device might be made available in other countries also confirmed reports regarding that are yet to be obtained.
