Mass Effect: Andromeda- What to expect:

Since its official reveal, the makers have dropped news about the game sporadically. Recently, during Sony’s PlayStation meet, a new Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay trailer showcased some very interesting things, including some new mechanics, the setting, and of course, the animation, which has been the talking point of the upcoming game. While EA announced that they will release a new trailer on N7 Day (November 7, 2016) which will “officially open the doors to the next chapter of the Mass Effect universe,” the newly released trailer also does a good job of showing some of the action and the characters that we’ll get to meet as part of the final game.

The new game will be set apart from Mass Effect 3 by a few centuries and its events will take place in the Andromeda Galaxy, thus making the story a fresh one. However, references to the past stories are likely to be included to retain the remembrance factor for fans associated with the series. Some rumours state that Mass Effect: Andromeda may also feature a brand new locomotion system that we will see the characters using. The six-wheeled vehicle called Mako from the earlier games in the series will also be making a return in all its resilient glory in the new game.

Players can play the third person RPG shooter game as either a male or a female character. To this end, Mass Effect: Andromeda’s central character, Ryder, can be played in the player’s preferred gender. The male and the female Ryder will appear on the game as siblings and there is a chance that interaction between the two will be significant.

The new gameplay will feature some of the old tropes used in the earlier Mass Effect games. Alongside that, Andromeda will certainly have a number of new planets to explore and new races to meet.

Mass Effect: Andromeda Release Date:

BioWare has announced that the game will be released by the first quarter of 2017. This means that March is the latest time by when we can expect to see the final game come out. More news about the game will be shared by BioWare as the franchise celebrates its annual N7 Day, and it is likely that a specific release date will also be set on that day.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will be playable on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
