Samsung is now feeling real heat due to its ongoing issue with Galaxy Note 7, and now the South Korean IT giant has been recalling that flagship device from the market with a direct apology to its users. However, it seems like the company is gearing up to make its upcoming Galaxy S8 a flawless device to rule the global Smartphone market all over again. Today we have come to know about two Galaxy S8 model numbers which are SM-G950 and SM-G955 as a result of a latest leak reported by SamMobile.
As per reports, there will be two different variants of Galaxy S8 and they are already nicknamed Dream and Dream2. But, the most amazing thing which is catching our eyes right now is the model numbers (SM-G950 and SM-G955) of these two upcoming devices. Interestingly the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 model numbers are SM-G930 and SM-G935, which means this mobile manufacturer is taking quite a leap with its upcoming flagship device launch. However, it may be possible that Samsung will announce a fresh model in between Galaxy Note 7 and Galaxy S8 somewhere in January 2017. It may be that foldable Smartphone which was rumoured to be launched by Samsung this year.
There is one more logic to skip number 4, as the Koreans consider number 4 as the symbol of bad luck, and they tend to avoid it in country’s schools, hospitals etc. It is called as Tetraphobia, and Samsung may not be ready to take any kind of risk with its upcoming Galaxy S8 device in terms of luck, and that may be the foremost reason why they provide its model numbers as SM-G950 and SM-G955 instead of SM-G940 and SM-G945.
Talking about the specifications, Galaxy S8 is rumoured to be sporting a 5.1 inch screen and the Galaxy S8 Edge variant to be sporting the huge 5.5 inch screen. Both the devices will be powered by 6 GB RAM, and should be using the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS version. The Galaxy S8 is expected to launch in February 2017 at next year’s Mobile World Congress event, and these model numbers are giving real hope that the developers are making something awesome for all the Samsung Smartphone lovers across the world.
