Indian consumer electronics company Videocon Industries Limited have just announced the launch of its new smartphone, the Videocon Cube 3. The smartphone is slated to come with a ‘SOS-Be Safe’ emergency response app, a feature which is heavily stressed on by the company in case of needed help in any emergency situation.

The SOS app uses the power button as the panic button to send an alert to the pre-defined numbers in case of emergency. Further, the company has decided to introduce the panic button (‘SOS-Be Safe’ emergency response app) across its entire range of smartphones.

The new device from videocon will feature a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6735 64-Bit Processor with 3Gb of internal memory as well as 32 GB of internal storage. The cube 3 will sport a 5 Inch(720p) HD IPS Touchscreen 2.5D curved glass Display with a pixel density index of 293 PPI.
