Android 7.0 Nougat: It’s been two years since Google unveiled Android 7.0 Nougat. Google has now started rolling out the update for several devices including Samsung and Google Nexus.
Android 7.0 Nougat for Nexus Devices
As they say family comes first. The Nexus devices will be the first one to get Android 7.0 Nougat updates. Nexus 5X, Nexus 6 series, Pixel series, Nexus 9 and Android One will be receiving the update. Find out how to get the final version of Nougat 7.1 on Nexus 7 tablet here.
Samsung Devices
The following Samsung handset will receive Nougat update – Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
HTC Devices
Along with HTC 10, HTC A9, and HTC M9, HTC Desire 10 Pro and Lifestyle too will get the update.
Motorola Devices
Moto G (4th Generation), Moto G Plus (4th Generation), Moto G Play (4th Generation), Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Generation, Moto X Styl, Moto X Play, Moto X Force, Droid Turbo 2, Droid Maxx 2, Moto Z, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z Play, Moto Z Play Droid, and Nexus 6.
Sony Devices
Xperia XZ, Xperia X Compact, Xperia Z3 , Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia X, Xperia XA, Xperia XA Ultra, and Xperia X Performance, will be receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update.
Xiaomi Devices
Mi 5, Mi Max, Mi 4s, Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 4, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi 3, Redmi 3s, Mi Note, Mi Note Pro, Mi Pad 2, and Mi 4i – are the devices set to get the update.
OnePlus Devices
As per Fabnewz, in a Reddit AMA session, OnePlus announced that the company is currently working on Android Nougat update for OnePlus 3.
LG Devices
While LG V20 is already running Nougat, other devices to receive the update are
Huawei Devices
According to GSM Arena, the company’s upcoming Mate 9 phablet will run the latest version of Android.
