The LG V20 was unveiled in San Francisco in September and there has been anticipation around its India launch since before the official reveal. Now, LG has finally decided that they would launch their premium smartphone in India soon and while the exact date of the launch is yet to be confirmed, it is already a fact that the V20 will be launched in India at a hefty price tag of Rs.49,990 in Titan, Silver and Pink coloured variants.
Post its launch, the smartphone will be available in retail outlets as well as online E-commerce platforms like Amazon or Flipkart in at least one of which, the V20 will be available exclusively soon enough.

LG’s latest flagship sports a 5.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 1,400 x 2,560-pixel resolution protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and a ~72.4% screen-to-body ratio. The device is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820, with two cores clocked at 2.15GHz and the other two running at 1.6GHz along with an Adreno 530 GPU. It was launched in 32GB and 64GB storage options globally, with a microSD slot to expand it by another 256GB. The device has 4GB of RAM.
The LG V20 comes with a secondary display, similar to what we’d seen on the LG V10. The secondary display on the LG V20 comes with a font size that’s 50 percent larger compared to the V10, making it easier to view notifications and alerts at a glance.
Additionally, on the software front, the V20 from LG will be the first smartphone to come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The device sports dimensions of 159.7 x 78.1 x 7.6 mm and weighs 174 grammes.

The LG V20 packs a dual rear camera setup, a 135-degree 8-megapixel(12mm, f/2.4) lens accompanied by 16-megapixel(29mm, f/1.8) 75-degree lens, accompanied by a 5-megapixel (f/1.9) 120-degree wide-angle lens on the front for selfie-taking and video calling purposes. Features include 1/2.6″ sensor size @ 29mm, 1/3.2″ sensor size @ 12mm, geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, panorama, HDR The Auto Shot feature on the LG V20 detects when you are smiling and automatically clicks a selfie.
The LG V20 rear camera setup can also shoot videos at 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30fps, 720p@120fps.
Battery and Other Specifications
The Lg V20 houses a Removable Li-Ion 3,200 mAh battery. Connectivity options for the device include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, NFC, Infrared port, radio and USB Type-C reversible connector. Sensors include Fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, colour spectrum etc.
