Videocon, earlier today launched its latest flagship device, a 4G LTE device called the Ultra50. The company says that the Ultra50 is targeted to those users who are looking for a sturdy and stunning device. Videocon also claims that the front facing fingerprint sensor comes with a ‘super sensitive capacitive sensor making it more accurate and responsive’. Ultra50 also comes with the pre-installed SOS-Be Safe emergency response app. as well as pre-installed ErosNow app with a free one-year membership to over 3,000 movies and music videos.

The new smartphone from Videocon sports a 5-inch HD IPS display (supported by MiraVision), and is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor. The phone comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable to 64GB.
The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. Ultra50 features a 13MP rear AF camera that comes with PDAF and dual LED flash. The front of the camera features a 5MP shooter with LED flash for selfie-taking and video calling purposes.
Ultra50’s dual Whatsapp feature will allow users to use two different WhatsApp accounts on the smartphone. Gesture controls on the phone allow for simple methods to access different functions of the phone, which includes drawing an ‘O’ for the Flash light, ‘M’ to blast Music, ‘C’ to launch the Camera and various other gesture controls.
As an introductory offer, Ultra50 will be available at Rs 8,990 and consumers can buy the device from offline as well as online E-commerce platforms from the first week of November. The company is also offering users an 18 months warranty on the phone, along with a 15-day replacement warranty.
