Apple has been in the news for most of the time for it’s very often that we get news of new devices getting released by this US-based brand. Even if the news and updates are not about the new devices, it sometimes reveals new rumours about the upcoming devices. One such report from has revealed that Apple iPhone 8 is going to be coming out on the market in three different variants.
It hasn’t been long enough that Apple iPhone 7 has come out in the market and are still going around quite popularly in the market. And rumours about their new device Apple iPhone 8 are rife in the market. On most of the occasions, Apple releases a couple of variants of their smartphones. Same was the case with Apple iPhone 7. However, it has been told previously by techvicity.com that iPhone 8 will be coming out on the market with one extra variant.
It has been revealed in MacRumours that Apple iPhone 8 will be coming out in the market primarily in two variants. One will have a 4.7-inch display with LCD screen and single-lens camera. The second variant is going to have a 5.5-inch LCD display and a dual-lens camera. Besides these two devices, as KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has stated, there will perhaps be yet another device under the title of Apple iPhone 8, and this one is going to be an OLED model with dual-lens camera although nothing has been said clearly regarding the display features of the device.
Ming-chi Kuo has been quoted saying, “We look for new 2017F iPhones to come in three models: one OLED model, and two TFT-LCD models with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display. We believe the OLED and 5.5-inch TFT-LCD iPhones will feature dual-camera. Based on this prediction, our forecast of dual camera adoption rate in new 2017F iPhone models is revised up from 30-40% to 65-75%. We view this increase as favouring Largan’s sales and profit momentum as it is the exclusive supplier of wide-angle and telephoto lens. It also bodes well for Apple’s dual camera software ecosystem.”
However, despite all these rumours nothing has been revealed or hinted by the Cupertino-based brand. This is also going to be interesting to find out, whether there will be any third variant actually coming out while Apple iPhone 8 is released officially or not. Because this is going to provide the fans of Apple more opportunities to look for variations. And this also gives them the opportunity to compete with other leading brands that offer their users different avenues to choose from when they are buying their flagship device. And once that happens, there will no one stopping Apple from attaining a leap in the race for the best smartphone making brand across the world in which they are already a frontrunner. However, whether Apple iPhone 8 finally comes up with three new variants remains to be seen and the wait must go on for the time being.
