NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti: When it comes to the best graphics card, NVIDIA is the biggest name in the business. People are looking forward to the company’s latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti release. And there’s a huge amount of rumours suggesting that the graphics card is set for a launch in early March.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti was expected to make an appearance at the CES 2017 in January. But the CES event came and went, but NVIDIA remained mum. One reason for the absence could have been that NVIDIA didn’t have any competition at the event and they’d rather wait for the launch of AMD’s Radeon RX 500. in February Therefore, the release of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti was pushed back, at around PAX East. Tech fans are hoping the graphics car is unveiled at the next big tech event. The PAX East will be held between March 10 to 12, which means the launch could take place around the same time.
As per rumours, the upcoming graphics card will sport a 10 GB RAM which is an upgrade from its predecessor, GeFirce GTX 1080 that came with an 8 GB RAM. One previous release by NVIDIA had a GP 102 core, which was critically praised, GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will sport a GP102 core. With 34-bit memory interface, the graphics card is going to supersede its previous versions.
With AMD working on Vega graphics card that is being pegged for a last 2017 release, NVIDIA is surely doing their best to make sure GeForce GTX 1080 Ti comes out on top. While the two is expected to collide head-on with each other, Vega 10 is, for the time being, pegged as the possible champion. The recent Vega GPU demos at the CES 2017 proved Vega 10 can very well dethrones NVIDIA in terms of performance, unless GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is ahs something phenomenal to offer.
