It has been quite a while that we have been receiving news and updates regarding the upcoming smartphone from the house of Xiaomi. And it has been revealed that Xiaomi Mi 6 will be available on the market in the month of March. So the fans of Xiaomi will not have to wait for much longer in order to get hold of the latest flagship device from Xiaomi.
We have previously reported that Xiaomi Mi 6 is going to be released before the end of the first quarter of the year 2017. And the latest news that has come up has provided a real boost to that previous news claiming that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be available on the market in the month of March. However, they have to wait until the middle of March to get a hands-on experience of the device for the phone will be launched during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) which is scheduled to be held in the month of February and continue till the first two days in the month of March. The report also states that the manufacturers will start trial production of the device as early as in the month of February.
Now coming to the features of the device it can be stated that the upcoming device from Xiaomi is going to be one of the updated smartphones. It is going to come with the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor which has been released lately during the CES coupled with a 6 GB RAM and 256 GB native storage. This is the premier version of the device. The lower end one is going to be sporting a 4 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. Both the versions of the Xiaomi Mi 6 is going to run on an Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The two versions of the Xiaomi Mi 6 are expected to come out with a price tag of $437 and $364. A third variant of the Xiaomi Mi 6 which is reportedly called the Youth version will have Helio X30 processor under the hood coupled with the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It will perhaps come out with a price tag of $294.
So it will be really interesting to see how it fares when it hits the market in the month of March. For that, we have to keep on waiting. And one thing can be said – the Xiaomi Mi 6 is worth the wait and it will provide stiff competition to all the other leading smartphone making brand across the world.
