ZTE Blade V8 Pro Offers Dual-Lens Camera Setup and 4K Recording at $230

We have come to that point of time where the latest advancements in the field of technology are making the new smartphones absolutely unaffordable for the majority section of people. Features like 8GB RAM and dual-lens camera setups in smartphones are much coveted with almost everyone wanting the same in their handheld device but the flagships of the tech giants have made their devices a bit too expensive for common people. And specifically for these people, consumer electronics manufacturer, ZTE have launched their latest smartphone sporting a dual-lens camera setup at the CES 2017 event in Las Vegas. The phone is now available for pre-order on the company’s US website for $230 (approx Rs 15,500).

Hardware and Software

The Blade V8 Pro will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD LCD display (401ppi pixel density) with a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, covered by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2 GHz coupled with an Adreno 506 GPU). Coming to memory specifications, ZTE’s latest flagship will feature 3GB of RAM as well as 32GB of on-board device memory which can be expanded to 128GB by using the second SIM slot.

On the software front, the smartphone is slated to feature Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will also sport a front home button mounted fingerprint scanner. The V8 Pro lets you open specific apps from the lock screen depending on what finger you scanned, which is quite a smart and convenient application.

Camera

The Blade V8 Pro features a dual-rear (13MP + 13MP), which the company claims come with ‘blazing fast shutter speeds’. Battery and Connectivity

The V8 Pro is powered by a 3140 mAh battery and supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging. ZTE claims that the phone will give 24 hours of talk-time and 552 hours of standby time. Connectivity options on the device include  Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS and a 3.5mm headphones jack. A USB Type-C port is featured on the device for charging and data transfer.
