The all new Honor Maya showed up ahead of its official announcement in TENAA. Besides spotting the device, there are a couple of other things that we noticed, mainly its budget-friendly specifications that we have noticed.
The Chinese regulatory commission listed the handset on the site comes with the following features: the device is expected to come with a 5-inch display with HD (720p) resolution, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, along with storage of 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 128GB via a micro SD card, and lastly an 8-megapixel primary camera, reports Phone Arena.
Honor Maya is also supposed to come with 2,920 mAh battery that’ll run Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box. Right now we have no information regarding the price but we do know that the smartphone is supposed to come with Gold, Gray, and White color schemes.
It probably worth mentioning that only today, one Honor device was launched which happens to be the company’s flagship device – the Honor 9. It comes with a 5.15-inch touchscreen display along with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels that comes at a PPI of 428 pixels per inch. It is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Kirin 960 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.
As far as the camera of the handset is concerned, the Huawei Honor 9 offers 20-megapixel primary camera that comes along with 8-megapixel front snapper for taking selfies. The handset measures 147.30 x 70.90 x 7.45, weighs 155.00 grams, runs Android 7.0. The device offers dual SIM that accepts two Nano-SIM. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, and 4G along with sensors like Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity, and Gyroscope sensors. It comes in three different color variants and those are Midnight Black, Glacier Grey, and Sapphire Blue.
