South Korean multinational conglomerate company Samsung has made their latest flagship Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus go on sale today. It will be available on Flipkart and Samsung Shop. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and is priced at Rs. 74,900.
Samsung Galaxy 8 Plus features a 3,500mAh battery and supports wireless charging as well as fast charging. Weighing 173gm, it measures 148.9*68.1*1.8mm. The USP of the device is the Bixby virtual assistant.
Speaking of the connectivity options of the device, its supports Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, 4G LTE (Cat. 16), USB Type-C, MFC and WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz, 5GHz). Besides, it has multiple sensors on board including proximity sensor, heart rate sensor, gyroscope, barometer, light sensor, accelerometer, magnetometer, ambient light sensor, among others.
The device also comes with a fingerprint scanner, facial recognition, and iris scanner. The device comes with a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED screen. It is currently available in Midnight Black color variant. It has ‘Infinity’ display with minimal bezels on the side. It is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 8895 processor and sports a 12-megapixel primary camera with Dual Pixel technology. Moreover, it also sports an 8megapixel secondary camera. Its display has an aspect ratio of 18:5:9 and it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The company is also offering a number of offers with the device. Buyers will be eligible to get a free bundled wireless charger worth Rs. 4,499. For those of you who are purchasing the phone from Samsung Shop, the company is offering a cash back of Rs. 2,500 to ICICI credit card holders. This 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant of the device is similar to the original 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant, and the only difference lies in the storage.
