After teasing gadget-freaks for quite a while now, Chinese electronics manufacturer Oppo has officially announced its latest flagship smartphone, Oppo R11. Among its many special features is its 20megapixel selfie camera and Android 7.1 Nougat. It will be made available in China on June 10.
Oppo R11 is the successor to the highly successful Oppo R9s. Although the price of the device has not been revealed yet, it is being speculated that the launch price of the device would be $485 (which is around Rs. 31,200 in Indian value). It will be available in three color variants – Black, Gold and Rose Gold.
Apart from the 20megapixel selfie secondary camera, it will also have a dual rear camera setup, with a 20megapixel sensor and a separate 16megapixel sensor. The device will also support 2x optical zoom for better close up images, apart from a Portrait mode that will blur the background beneath the actual focus of the image.
The device will be powered by Snapdragon 660 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It runs on Color OS based Android 7.1 Nougat and features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080*1920 pixels) display. It is backed by a 2,900mAh battery. Its connectivity options include WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and 4G LTE.
It will sport a sleek metal unibody with the Home button in front. It is where the fingerprint scanner will presumably be present. The power button will found on the right edge, whereas the volume button will be located on the left-hand side of the device. The 3.5mm audio jack is located at the bottom edge of the phone, as per NDTV Gadget 360 Degrees.
Oppo is famous for its camera phone brand and it looks like now it has come up with one of its best selfie camera models. It was founded 16 years ago in 2001. It produces Blu-ray players, smartphones and other electronic devices.
