Lenovo Teases a New Note Series Phone, Could Launch in August

These days, Lenovo barely launches anything under its name, and most of the smartphones are launched under the brand name of Motorola. Now the company has posted a teaser trailer for a certain Note series phone on its official Facebook account that caters to the Indian mass. The phone’s launch in the country is imminent and is very likely going to take place in the first week of August.

Coming soon: new Lenovo K Note series phone

The last in the line of Lenovo Note smartphones that was launched in India was Lenovo K6 Note back in 2016. And the new Note phone could easily be a successor to the K6 Note. Lenovo is yet to announce a name, but it could be K7 Note. The teaser they posted on Facebook comes with a tag line: “The next #KillerNote will be uncaged soon!”

Nothing is really known about the handset because at this moment there have been no leaks surrounding the device. But one can always speculate that it is going to be an upgrade to that of the K6 Note; speaking of which, here are the specifications that the phone offers: a 5.50-inch display with 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset. It sports 3GB RAM along with an internal storage of 32 GB that is expandable via a microSD card for up to 128 GB. The dual-SIM handset runs Android 6.0.1 and packs 16-megapixel rear camera along with 8-megapixel selfie camera. Sensors in the Lenovo K6 Note are Accelerometer, Proximity along with connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 4G, etc.

A month back Lenovo’s ZUK Z3 Max was spotting online, and the most exciting news surrounding the reveal was that it might sport Snapdragon 836 chipset clocked at 2.45 GHz. If leaks are anything to go by then the storage sports 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal space along with Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box operating system.
