American multinational telecommunications company Motorola has accidentally revealed an image of Moto Z2 on its official website. This has given design details of the smartphone, which is slated for a July 25 launch.
Powered by Qualcomm Octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC, Moto Z2 will run on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It would sport a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display with 1440*2560 pixels. Reports also claim that we will get to see a fingerprint scanner embedded at the front of the device. Besides, it will also have support for dual-LED flash. The home button will be oval in shape while the RAM storage will be of 4GB. The image also revealed that the device would be available in three color variants – Silver, Black, and Grey. The design is reminiscent of that of Moto Z2 Play, although instead of the single-lens camera in Z2 Play, we can get to see dual-lens in Moto Z2.
As per reports, the device has a connector for Moto Mods. This means that they can also be used with multiple Moto Mods, including the items pictured here, such as JBL speaker, Hasselblad True Zoom Camera, Turbo Power Battery case, Portable Photo Printer, GamePad and 360 Camera.
Moto has recently sent out invites for a #HelloMotoWorld event that will take place on July 25. It is being expected that two smartphones will be announced by the tech giant in the event, one of them being Moto Z2.
The other device, which might be announced in the event is tipped to be Moto Z2 Force. It will be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC clubbed with Adreno 540 GPU. With a QHD display, the device will have 12-megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel secondary camera. So, just in about two weeks, we will have two new Moto devices in the tech world.
