Motorola has been on a roll of late with a good number of devices expected to be launched soon. And there is a new addition to that list, thanks to the GFXBench listing of a new smartphone. The actual name of the device is yet to be determined as only the model number Motorola XT1789 has been revealed with the help of the listing of the smartphone.
The GFXBench listing has revealed that the smartphone will have a 5-inch display screen which is supportive of a Full HD display resolution. Under the hood, the device is going to be powered by an octa-core processor from Qualcomm clocked at 2.2 GHz. But it has not been specified which one it is going to be, although it is predicted that it is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 or 660 processor. The processor will be coupled with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage.
The camera features are not of the highest order but are impressive enough. The front camera comes equipped with a 12-megapixel lens while the front camera comes equipped with a 16-megapixel lens. The new smartphone from Motorola owned by Lenovo will be capable of the shooting videos in 4K. The handset will run on an Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.
However, the questions which are raised are mostly regarding the identity of the smartphone. The Motorola XT1789 has features, as revealed by the GFXBench listing, which are not in line with the likes of the alleged specs and features of the Moto X4 or even the Moto Z2 Force. Motorola is set to launch a number of new devices including the MotoG5S Plus which has been spotted again lately. Hence, it is going to be a matter of future revelation regarding what is going to be the actual name of the device when it comes out.
